module nine video review!
The two videos I chose are about Michael Angelo and Leonardo da Vinci because I am a fan of these artists. Their work truly amazes me.
In the movie “The drawings of Michelangelo” I learned that he was born in Florence and his father never really saw a purpose in him wanting to become an artist. He is the famous artist who sculpted the famous “Statue of David.” He actually destroyed many of his drawings because he didn’t want the world to see them.
In the movie “The Mind of the Renaissance” I learned that Leonardo was born in Tuscany. He had a true love for animals and an interest in nature and its beauty.
Both of these videos relate to the text in that they openly discuss the lives of the two artists in great detail. They both reveal some of the artwork that the artists are famous for and the elements they are famous for using within their artwork.
I liked these videos, they added to my knowledge about these two artists! They had such great knowledge and skill that furthered their career as artists!
