1. Using my hand as subject matter for drawing was somewhat challenging. I am right handed so using my left hand for the one was difficult!
2. The media that I used was a pencil, I chose this because a pencil adds a simply effect to the drawing. I wanted it to look simple, not overdone.
3. Creating a drawing with my non- dominant hand was a challenge! To be honest it felt weird, obviously my hand is not used to drawing but I think I overcame the challenge well.
4. This is my third draft, I still feel like I can improve but I like my final piece enough to post on this blog. I maybe would like to try drawing them with charcoal to add the "full, bold" effect to the piece.
5. I would probably use my non-dominant hand for some of my artwork in the future, I think it adds a whole other effect to the drawing. Maybe with a painting, I would try to see if it was easier to use my non-dominant hand. I would like to see how the brush strokes look.
