Blog Postings Peer Review
The blogs I reviewed: I had to view the blogs further above mine rather than directly above on the shared document because the link for the girls blog was never posted in the shared document.

When looking at Project #1, the elements and principles of art matched up perfectly with her pictures. In Stephanie's blog, my favorite of the pictures was the porcupine which represented texture. You can really visualize the texture and it is the main focus of the picture. Both blogs display the correct images with the relating elements.
When looking at Project #2, Stephanie had different photos as me, but she posted the ones that had an impact on her. Latifah actually had two of the same pictures as I did. The same pictures that were used were Edgar Degas and Anselm Kiefer. She chose them for different reasons as I did. But we both chose them for reasons that they impacted us in some way or that they simply "caught our eye."
The artwork on Stephanie's blog was interesting to me. She used a lot of artwork from Charles Burchfield who I love. The image that I want to know more about is Ling Xia Jiang, Wrapped House, 1991, Oil on Canvas. I want to know more about the artist, or explore more pieces of their artwork. This image is very capturing. It displays a girl in a large field. It impacts me in that there is a house in the distance, which is probably hers, and she is placed in a way that she looks comfortable laying in the field. I think this artwork represents a women leaving the house to pursue her dreams. There is an endless field of possibilities in the world.
Personally, I love peer reviewing. It is always good to be given feedback from someone who did the same project as you and seeing how they approached it and compare it with yours.
The comments from my peers towards my blog were helpful, it was positive feedback!
